NEW COMIC PROJECT – INSPIRED BY & DEDICATED TO MY FIRSTBORN SON – PROJECT NAME CONFIDENTIAL FOR NOW – PLEASE HAVE A LOOK

Illustrated by me (Heather Harmon) on November 9, 2022, drawn digitally using a stylus. I will take time to create this comic & tell this character’s story.

I am just getting started having fun drawing using a stylus. To explain my method: I usually use the stylus & select a pencil tool, afterwards I draw over my outline with a pen tool & add more details with a few layers of color. I am just learning this way & I’m used to drawing in sketchpads with ink. – Signed, Heather Harmon🌻😉

I drew this on August 29, 2022. Yes, it is supposed to be me. I don’t drink alcohol anymore, it’s better for my pretty figure. I am not quite satisfied with this comic, I’ll try it with a stylus again later. I’ll attempt to draw something similar on paper with regular ink later. – Heather Harmon 😊

I drew this with my stylus in October 2022. I wanted to try something new. I will keep experimenting with stylus digital drawings. I like it that way too, although at this time it’s still easier for me to draw with pen & paper. I like experimenting with color, I would like to become a professional at both mediums. 🙂 – Heather Harmon
Quick illustration I made digitally using a stylus on the morning of November 16, 2022. I looked at a very cool portrait I took with my sons last year. This illustration was my first attempt at recreating a family photo with extra pizazz. It’s not my greatest, but I still like how it turned out & wanted to share it. I completed this the morning of November 27, 2022. I used my stylus. I wanted to create a character who was mysterious, a bit mean & curious, but beautiful. It’s not as perfect as I envisioned it being after-the-fact in my mind, but I like it. I want to practice more with painting digitally & getting the correct skin and hair tones, highlights, & shadows. 🙂 – Heather Harmon

I tried something new, meaning a new style of drawing that I don’t usually use personally. Yes, this time I used my stylus too. This drawing reminds me of a chibified illustration of the way both of my sons looked when they were toddlers. I like this a lot. 💙 – Heather Harmon

I drew this digitally with a stylus on the morning of February 19, 2023. I was thinking of darker glamorous shots I’ve seen & about characters from a popular book about geisha I’ve been rereading. I wanted brighter, colorfulness in this comic. The girl in my drawing seems to be sophisticated, classy, yet sassy with a bad attitude. 🙂 – Heather Harmon
I drew this digitally using a stylus (on the morning of February 18, 2023) & due to a software glitch, I could not put my signature at the bottom– so instead I typed it out. (Beneath is a copy I saved & opened in a new software, signed my name, & cropped– it’s somewhat uncool but at least I have my actual signature covering my original comic, with no thanks to the buggy software & glitch). Anyway, I’m developing a new style for a series of comics I plan to share on my website here. I’m on the lookout for non-buggy software. Anyway, I really like how this one turned out, even though I drew it quickly. 🙂 – Heather Harmon
